Day 16 - The last movie you saw in theaters

Toy Stoy 3!!!!!!!!

It was so friggen good. I was pissing myself with laughter during the scene [***SPOILER***] when Mr. Potato had to replace his body with the burrito wrap. I full on started crying with laughter. And this little girl, Bonnie, was so cuuuute!

And there was so many sad parts! I cried twice in it! Both my friends were sitting next to me so I had to wipe my tears subtly, haha.

I think Toy Story is one of the greatest trilogy’s. All three films were great, and none of them dissapoint, unlike others out there. *cough* Shrek *cough*

It's so friggen c-c-c-cold in Australia!

I’m jealous of everyone who has posted about hot weather in their country. :(

I can’t wait till Summer. Just five more months. Five more months and I can finally hit the beach, go skimboarding, wear thongs, Tshirts and not have constantly cold hand and feet.

P.s. Check out my new layout!

Hopefully one day you find yourself.

Friggen it was hilarious in English, when Sander was talking about carrion, I automatically turned my head to Kieren and simultaneously, we silently screamed/mouthed the words “CARRION!”

Fancy Dress Partys

Dress up party’s are always fun. Here’s one my friend had where the theme was Heroes and Villains:

Pretty sure my friends are speds, but I love them very much. :)

This Saturday I’ve got another dress up party themed Superheroes.

People said if you can’t think of a superhero, just make up your own, so I’ve decided to go as ‘Harlequin Girl’. I was flippin’ out because I thought I had an awesome idea but then someone told me that Joker’s sidekick was called Harley Quinn i.e. Harlequin, so I was quite devastated…but I’m still saying I made it up.

Haha.

Day 21 - The most overrated movie

At the moment, I think it’s (500) Days of Summer.

I reckon if Joseph Gordon-Levitt wasn’t it in, it probably wouldn’t be getting as much attention from teens as it is now.

I thought the way they did the structure of the film was pretty cool though, and Zooey Deschanel is really pretty.

Day 01 - Your favorite movie

This one’s way too hard. I love pretty much everything by Quentin Tarantino, Tim Burton and Alfred Hitchock. I also really love American Beauty by Sam Mendes and Pan’s Labyrinth by Guillermo del Toro.

I’m just going to say American Beauty. Winning five Oscars - best picture, director, actor in a leading role, cinematography and screenplay - just shows how amazing it is and it is considered one of the greatest films in history.

And Kevin Spacey is a legend.

Soundwave Sydney 2010

Soundwave this year was pretty rockin’.

image

The lineup wasn’t as sick as last year which had UNDEROATH, SILVERSTEIN AND EMERY!

But this year had PARAMORE and THE ALMOST who kicked arse! They both pretty much made my day. The venue was horrible though. It was at Eastern Creek Raceway which was full of dirt, so in the moshpit, it got way way way way dusty. The security guards at the front were hosing down the mosh with water so the ground eventually became…well…mud. And my shoes, plus everyone else’s, ended up looking like this:

image

Four months later, I finally cleaned them:

image

Yepp, I totes edited that photo to make them look extra clean and shiny but whatevs. Haha.

Anyways, I’m pretty darn peaved that The Devil Wears Prada dropped out and I didn’t get to see A Day to Remember, Dance Gavin Dance, Emarosa or You Me At Six. Why did I only start to like these bands after Soundwave?!

It was over thirty degrees on that day. Like, it was seriously way hot and thevenue had no friggen shade, AT ALL. No tree, shelter, or anything…unless you were over 18 and could get into the bars…Which I’m not! So we had to scab Mount Franklin boxes to use as shelter:

image

And there were lots of people, as you can see in the background of that photo.

Fun day though.

And so many people got sunburnt really really bad. I didn’t get burnt (Yew!) but got a hectic tan line from where the straps of my top were.

Oh! And the venue was made up of hills. And at the top of one of the hills were taps where you could get free water. After a whole day of 2368436 million people using the taps, the ground was all squelchy and muddy and gross, and some fat old dude - I’m pretty sure he was drunk - full on told everyone to get out of the way and then did a big run up and body slid across the mud. Yeah, that was pretty funny.

After the festival I heard a kid died from one of the mosh’s that day. I don’t know if it was from the heat, lack of air and suffocating from the mosh, getting trampled, idiots pushing in the mosh, dying at the sight of Hayley Williams or all of the above, but seriously, losing your life from wanting to see your favourite bands play and just having fun isn’t supposed to happen.

Okay, so it's 2.30am.

And I want to friggen sleep.

So I just finished writing a 26 page short story, right? And I start printing it, and then half way through printing, the printer eats up two pieces of paper at the same time, so the very last sentence on the page is printed on a blank piece of paper. So I had to cut up that last sentence and stick it on its original page.

So I’m like, okay, whatever, that’s cool. I continue printing and then…I RUN OUT OF PAGES!

I’m looking everywhere, and there’s no paper anywhere. So I ended up printing the rest on lined paper.

So half my story is on loose leaf paper, half is on normal A4 paper, and then there’s this random glued on sentence in the middle of it.

So dodgy but meh.

Time to crash. Peace.

I WISH I DIDN'T HAVE TO WAKE UP THIS MORNING!

I had the maddest dream!

Why oh why did I have to wake up? I MET UNDEROATH!

And I was auditioning to be their new drummer in their band. AND THEY SAID I WAS IN! Hahaha, yeah I know they already found a drummer and it will never happen but still… it was a cool dream.
