I tackled three of Norway’s landmark hikes in two weekends. First was the mighty Trolltunga on Norway’s west coast. On average, this hike is a 9hr return trip. We decided to do it in 2 days, setting up camp close to the top. Normally doing a day hike, the Trolltunga rock is riddled with hikers and tourists lining up to take photos on the rock. I don’t think I could cope with the pressure of people waiting for me to hurry up and get off the rock so they can have their turn on the edge. By camping the night, we had the rock all to ourselves. Nothing to distract the moment with just me, God, and his mighty creation!
